The criteria for the upcoming Data Forward Awards have been finalized. We are looking for even more rigorous implementations of modular AI and robust supply chain models.
Building on the incredible success of our 2026 awards cycle, the judging panel has released the updated submission framework for 2027. This year, the focus heavily shifts from theoretical proof-of-concepts to deployed, measurable, and scalable architectural innovations.
Key Additions to the Criteria:
- Proven ROI in Generative AI: Submissions must clearly demonstrate how LLMs and Generative models have generated measurable cost-savings or revenue for the end client, moving beyond standard 'chatbot' wrappers.
- Edge Computing Viability: For supply chain and IoT submissions, judges will scrutinize how data is processed at the edge versus the cloud to minimize latency.
- Quantum Readiness: A brand new category evaluating consultancies that are preparing enterprise clients for post-RSA cryptography and quantum machine learning.
Submissions will open late Q3 2026. Consultancies are encouraged to begin compiling their case studies and anonymizing client data now to prepare for the rigorous review process.
